Sleep Standing

This is not normal, but sometimes you just wear yourself out.

Swim Time

Everytime I looked at Jackson I was sure that his goggles got tighter. I could not stop laughing at those things. You're pretty cute Jackson!

Luke and Benson practicing their kicking skills. Notice the cutest little swimmer in Laura's perfectly round pregnant tummy.

Andrew is really fun in the water because he could careless if he gets dunked or splashed.

We have a pool at our condo, and this is the first summer of three that we've used it. But it was worth the wait. Benson loves it, Andrew really loves it and since it is so stinkin' hot, Kimball and I love it. We've been having a lot of fun with it. Hey, this is an open invitation...anyone is invited.

Cycles

Benson loves his Bompa for many reasons, but this is a BIG one. He loves the cycle. My dad distracts them with the motorcycle all the time and they think it is so much fun. Bompa has the touch. It is fitting that he now has 11 grandsons to take on cycle rides. That means that there is usually a line.

Pause

His coloring ability is coming along. This is his best yet.

Benson loves doing things by himself. He says, "my do it" or "my try", or "my turn mama". It's really AWESOME to see him become more independent and learn on his own. The other day we were going swimming and I had his suit out. Before I knew it, I came back into his room and he had it on and was running around. I had to do a double take. I was really proud of him. He loves cooking with me, and helping me clean. He uses a wet wipe and just follows right behind me. He likes to open the door, and then lock it, put his own clothes in the washer, and now he wants to be Andrew's new mom and feed him and hold him. (Andrew almost outweighs him).
I just wish I could push a "PAUSE" button sometimes. Even sometimes a rewind button. It is so amazing to see him grow.

He did it again

I know that I shouldn't post this picture, but I blog for journaling, and this incident is a HUGE part of Andrew's life. He does this all the time, but not usually all the way out of his diaper. Lot's of bath's and lots of stain removing. But do you notice the VERY INNOCENT FACE?
I had to get it on film too, so that he will believe us when he's older.

Ouch

As far as I can remember, this is the first skinned knee. Probably won't be his last. Maybe you only take pictures like this for the firstborn. The skinned knee says 'kid' but the fat padding all over his knees ( that I LOVE) still says 'little'.
