I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas

I thought this day would come- it just seems to go hand-in-hand with childhood, but I honestly thought we were home free with Benson and that it would be Andrew. I asked him what he was doing from the other room and he said, "putting on some chapstick", which he does - especially now that it is so cold. I came in the room and said with surprise, "WHAT are you doing?" and he said, "Um, I don't know". yeah right. Caught RED HANDED.

The "Um, I don't know mom" look

I should never admit this but, . . . I've always wanted to see what his lashes would like with mascara. Don't have to wonder anymore.

He thought he looked pretty cool. I would think this look would scare him, but he kept going without hesitation. I sent Kimball a text at work and he thought he looked like he got beat up.
Good thing it's not waterproof!

Did he put that on his eye lashes all by himself? that's incredible!!! at first I thought it was permanent marker but was quickly relieved to see it was only mascara!

LOVE IT! I wish I could say that Benson beat Jackson on this one...but of course we have already experienced the mascara fun. You are just better at keeping it out of reach I am sure. Love the picture though....

Found your blog. By the way, FUNNIEST POST EVER, Bubba and I are cracking up. Little boys are so funny. And just for the record, his eyelashes look amazing with mascara on them :)
